THE COMPLETE ROADMAP

Seven steps from prepared land to released product.

Open each stage below to see the outcome, work required and evidence needed before the team moves forward.

01

Plan the site & test the water

Survey boundaries, contours, soil, flood and drainage conditions. Confirm legal access, a reliable water source, utility connection and clean/dirty site zoning before design freeze.

Required outputs

  • Approved survey and geotechnical report
  • Full source-water analysis
  • Utility and drainage concept
  • Site layout and permission register
02

Prepare the ground & build ponds

Clear unsuitable material, grade and compact the site, build storm-water diversion first, form raceways and nursery ponds, and provide all-weather roads, walkways, fencing and sanitation.

Required outputs

  • 60 production raceways
  • 4 nursery ponds
  • Tested subgrade and bunds
  • Roads, drains and safe access
03

Install liner, cover & circulation

Place protective geotextile and welded UV-stabilised HDPE liner, test every seam and pond, then install covers, paddle wheels, pipework, isolation valves and controls.

Required outputs

  • 1.0 mm minimum HDPE planning basis
  • Seam and leak-test records
  • 60 × 0.5 HP mixing systems
  • Weather and contamination protection
04

Commission water, nutrients & culture

Install source, raw and treated storage, duty/standby pumps, treatment, meters and separated water lines. Prepare only the approved culture medium and scale authenticated culture through nursery ponds.

Required outputs

  • ≥35 m³/day source capacity target
  • 100–150 m³ usable storage
  • Water-system wet test
  • QA culture release before transfer
05

Grow, monitor & multiply

Operators complete every pond round, monitor culture condition and mixing, control access and cleaning, and quarantine anything outside approved limits until QA and the cultivation lead decide the action.

Required outputs

  • Twice-shift pond readings
  • Microscopy and density checks
  • Controlled culture transfers
  • Deviation and corrective-action records
06

Harvest, press & dry

Harvest only released ponds, keep a single batch identity through filtration and pressing, dry under validated conditions, and confirm moisture and quality before milling.

Required outputs

  • Food-grade filtration
  • Traceable press and dryer loads
  • Clean material movement
  • Dry-batch QA release
07

Mill, pack & release products

Complete line clearance, mill and sieve released dry material, pack into the approved format, verify weights, seals, codes and labels, then issue the finished-product release and retain samples.

Required outputs

  • Powder, capsule, tablet and bulk formats
  • Packaging reconciliation
  • Finished-product COA
  • Retained sample and dispatch traceability
